What you see is what you get

When you look in the mirror, you see the outer expression of your inner thoughts. You see the words you have chosen to use in your life, come to life in-through your flesh. Don’t believe me? Then think about this.

Who do you see when you look into your mind. Is it the healthy, fit, successful person doing all the things that you desire and having all the wealth to go with it? Or do you see someone similar to yourself? You know, whether on TV or computer monitor, print ads or even on the radio, you see for very short moments throughout the days, weeks, months, and years, images of yourself. These images are being created by what you think, see, hear, and say; and they help form who you are. Well let’s just say, as in the case of many people, that you are not as happy as you wish to be with your present condition in life, and you would like to have more; then to have more, you need to change that picture in your head.

Everything starts with you. You control everything in your life. Now I realize that when things happen that you feel, at the time are “bad” for you, you may say, “I did not want this to happen” or maybe, “I did not want that to happen that way”. Well the way it happens may seem undesirable at the time, however, if you reflect on times past in your life, you may have to admit that the timing of things, even “bad” things seemed right. Let’s say that you were to think of the pictures in your head, days, weeks, months, and years before your present moment, then you could absolutely correlate the present picture with your past thoughts. Therefore if you want peace, joy, happiness, success, and prosperity in your life in the future, and that future can be in the next moment, then you need to see peace, joy, happiness, success, and prosperity in your mind NOW.

This simple philosophy is as old as time itself, and there is evidence of this in every period in history. Study the successful people, and you will see it. Research the top athletes and it is there. Watch an infant, they want something, they cry for attention, and they get what they want. This is a universal law and we know the law by heart as an infant, then we grow and are taught to doubt. We begin our lives learning from others what is "realistic" to expect for ourselves based, in part at least, on their beliefs and limitations. They say things like, "be like everyone else, because you can only be this type of person if you are, tall, short, black, white, overweight, underweight, and on and on. If you have been told all these things throughout your life, at all different stages and from all different types of people, you have probably gotten to some point where you believed it, and that’s when you began to doubt. Conversely, look at the people that were told they could do and be whatever they wanted, and they were told these things consistently throughout their lives. They understood and remained in that infant like state of wanting something and expecting to get it, and they probably got it. We could all do well to go back in our minds to a simpler time and truly grasp the principal of wanting something first and keeping that on our minds until we receive it. You can be one of the select few to find your way to happiness. Start in your head, because what you see is what you get.

Always be conscious of your thoughts. Choose positive words. Your thermometer for your thoughts is your feelings. Learn to be sensitive to your feelings, and to trust them. They will always guide you to the best solution for yourself. Some people call them instinct, hunch, Holy Spirit; what is important is that you learn to recognize them and to be guided by them. Do this and keep your thoughts positive and on what you want, and you will see in your life a change in a positive way. Behave more like that infant that cries expecting to get fed, and you will again expect what you want to show up in your life, and it will.

As always, stay positive, and control your thoughts, because your thoughts, become your reality.

Positive thoughts, create positive realities
